			<description><![CDATA[ I've just learned that Barabbas is now available on DVD. I have it on an old VHS tape, but the DVD features widescreen, which is the way these films should be viewed. Barabbas has, in my opinion, the best arena sequences ever filmed, shot in the Roman amphitheater in Verona. I highly recommend it to the membership. The DVD is available through Amazon and probably elsewhere. ]]></description>

Edited by Brent D Shaw.<br><br>The book is simply translated documents from the three major slave wars ending in the Spartacan revolt.  Documentatin from how to treat slaves to why the slaves revolted fill the pages and it makes for one of the most insightful reads into Roman slavery I have ever read.
