It has some very interesting gladiatorial exhibits and I regret that I didn't have a camera with me. The prize exhibit is a gladiator helmet, one of only three in North America. It is brimmed and crested, but the crest is unlike any of the conventional ones, with an arching, serpentine design and a serpent running its length. 			<description><![CDATA[ Not an expert but should imagine women fighters were very,very rare in the arena so why does there  seem to be an epidemic of them in re-enactment groups or are they just 21st C fashion accessorys to attract the Dads whist the kids come along too ...in one group they must have been short of males because I saw women fighters matched against men   and they were very big blokes certainly had me running ......if we have to see women cant we have large ladys in the BBw range instead of the Xena... ]]></description>
